Do you provide chairs that move around locations? Or do organisers make/source their own chairs?
Each city/ space organises its own chairs. We are an all-volunteer team, and the kinds of chairs are up to you.
Do you provide poster design template for participating groups?
Yes.
How do we time one minute?
You can decide what works for you, but we have 1-minute classroom timers that we can post to organisers. Get in touch!
Sundays at noon till when, for an hour?
12 -1 pm – one hour.
Every / any Sunday, after March 17?
Any Sunday, consecutively if possible, and for as long as it goes. We suggest that, with each group, the oraganisers can rotate through facilitators week by week.
Outdoors preferred? Or can this be indoors?
Anywhere will work, so long as it’s public and a space where people can walk by and become curious/ discover it. An indoor or covered shopping area, for example, will also work. A space like a gallery, or a library or another community space.
Significance behind the colour blue?
Ocean, sky, life. Serenity, wisdom.
If I have chairs, does it matter what colour blue I use to paint them?
All blues are welcome! From light to dark, sky to sea to cobalt to lapis. For the start, the organisers used Natural Paint – an eco-friendly NZ paint company. Pacific Blue. But you can choose your paint! This is self-funded and relies on ingenuity of the local people.
